The current Tactical Data Link (TDL) systems used in the world are designed to provide certain traffic services with certain guarantees. They do not have a flexible structure that can be adapted to new services. With existing TDL networks, traffic transitions between other networks (terrestrial networks, satellite networks, other available TDL networks, etc.) are only possible if there are special protocol converters. Each system is designed as a closed box. For this reason, various countries carry out various studies in order to eliminate the constraints and weaknesses in the use of existing TDL and communication systems, to use national crypto, to gain resistance against electronic shuffles and regional threats, and to develop national TDL systems with different information needs and meet national demands in the field of operation of the future.
