In the last decade, the digital economy has been expanding with the development of digital technologies in all modern societies. Data storage capacity per capita in the world has roughly doubled every 40 months since the 1980s, and since 2012, 2.5 exabytes of data have been produced daily. The American International Data Corporation (IDC), which provides information technology market intelligence, predicts that by 2025, 163 zetabytes of data will be produced and used globally. Considering all these, it can be said that we are in the Big Data Age. One of the sectors that wants to benefit from the use of big data and related analytics is the aerospace industry, which has a strategic role in the industrial development of countries.
