The Internet of Things makes our lives easier by enabling each of our devices with internet access to share and coordinate data with each other. Can it “save our lives? This seems to be possible by the new trend called the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT). For example, wearable IoMT devices, which are used in everyday life by a patient or a healthy individual, can collect, analyze and transmit data related to his health in a very short time. The transmitted data can be viewed from time to time by health professionals. This allows early life-saving diagnosis. In addition, in hospitals equipped with IoMT devices that communicate with each other, waiting times are reduced and patient care quality is improved.
